The image is a bit simplistic, but I suspect that its sparseness was

Good interpretation. I the lightbulb is quite realistic and the posters
beatiful. The only thing that hurts the image is the light behind the TV. This
image would be much nicer if you brightened up the CRT on the TV to emulate the
backlight. And that back glow should be toned down a bit.

The Pizza box looks awfully red, a brown corrugated color would be better. Also,
the label's on the wrong side! (no pizza box I've ever seen said 'Pizz' on the
_inside_) A slice or two or some crusts in there would have coveyed the
meaning.

The lighting works well here.  Good execution of 
concept.  The posters closest to the camera seem a bit 
washed-out, though.  I assume the glow around the 
television is mean to indicate holiness, but it makes me 
wonder if the television is about to blow up.  Nice work 
on the chair and on the various textures in the scene.

It's notable there is an absence of windows. Judging from
the text file I'm assuming this was intentional, and if so
it was a good decision as it supports the idea well.
