A very nice twist to a classic tale.

This gave me a big laugh when I saw it - excellent interpretation of the topic!

Artistic - A balanced, easy on the eye image.
Technical - Nice attention to detail.

Well framed. Having the snail in the btm third and
centered is great! Colours and lighting are off. The
"sky" is only slightly overcast, but the lighting looks
overcast. Background really needs work.

Technically - lighting really is the biggest flaw. Thought
the stands need to look better. The car is excellent.
You should have rounded the end of the snail shell - is
too much of a straight line...

Concept - bang on

From StephenF@whoever.com:
I like the concept here. The snail's shell looks good,
and the car looks cool. The birds' wings look somewhat
angular to me.

Without any animation (or even motion blur), it is difficult to tell the
story here.

From hfventer@ing.sun.ac.za:
The pealing back of the car texture doesnt quite fit in
the image. The tarmack texture is a bit repetative.
Either a larger texture map or a slightly roated one would
have worked better.

From mark.wagner17@gte.net:
A very nice image, but without a description of how the
image was created, I can't score it on technical merit.
For example, are the clouds volumetric rendering or
merely an image map?

The racetrack has a very strong pattern where the image
map used for texturing repeats itself.
