The biggest issue is the lack of focus on the key object - 
the rich man.  Yes there is thelens flar, but coupled with 
the motion blur he seems semi tranparent.  To bring him 
attention to him, make the church dark or better yet use 
contrasting colours.
There are a lot of details in this image, but they almost 
all seem to be textured shades of brown.

Technically: practice realistic modelling techniques, and 
examine real world textures.  Also watch the little things - 
like blades of grass sprouting out of the centre of a 
concrete blcok with no visible crack (scatter is a cool 
feature , but it doesn't always do what you want.
Nice ripped knee in the pants, but why is thepoor guy so 
clean, and why is his whole face the same colour (you 
are able to assign textures to specific faces in a model).

immage helps a lot :)
