i'm not a big fan of this type of art...perhaps if I knew 
more about the symbolism.  It appears to me as though 
you threw a bunch of stuff together.
Technically the "hat" and head will be improved as you 
practice.

If the contranst is the monochrome figuire and the 
colored lights, then the figuire should have been more 
prominent and the gray should contain less blue.
