Artistic - Nicely balanced but the red ground detracts.
Technical - Nice work, but please be more specific on how you managed to get a
Bryce Sky map into 3d Max image as Max has limited importation abilities. Was
the Bryce sky added in post rendering production (a definite no-no)or an image
map on a cube during rendering?
Concept - Sorry but your lack of notes on what you are trying to achieve makes
it hard to find a contrast in this image.

For me the major problems are
1. the bright white mist(?) that is no where else in the
scene (such as the background or around the tank) At
first I thought it was dust from the tnk moving (as such it
is great if not a bit bright), but then the tank would be
driving backwards...
2. the desolate land and the amazingly prolific poppies.
It would work if the poppy field was a faded, ghostly
image, like a memory or forshadowing....

Technically - the sky rocks, the city looks perfect as the
backdrop of the tank.
However, the human skull has two big squarish dimaples,
and the leg bone looks robotic. The texture on the tank
looks painted on, try using the same image (grayscaled)
as a bump map.
Concept - I always associate Poppies with War and War
with Death and Destruction. I also looked for an
explanation as to where you saw the contrast, but didn't
find it.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
The tank looks pretty good. The concept doesn't seem
to come across very well in the scene itself, and the
smoke seems rather bright.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Pretty good atmosphere. Good textures except for the smoke which seems too
glowingly white. Good framing. Despite all the good things, though, I'm
disappointed a little. In the final analysis, the image isn't all that
appealing, nor does it show much contrast. I guess it's supposed to be that
way...

The poppies need a bit of work. It looks too much like
shrubs

There are some excellent freeware renderers and
modelers out on the Internet. I strongly suggest you find
one for your next entry.
