This image is basicly an "artifact" that is being created by lava.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: 

To make this image I used 2 simple object and one complex one. To make the
"artifact" 
I used the Julia fractal. The sky was just the bozo pigment, and to make it look
more 
smoky I added some ground fog, The lava is a plane with the pigement atribute
called crackle.
