Good atmosphere!

From wagner-michael@web.de:
Nice picture. However, the JPG compression is too high.
Good interpretation of theme, but the terrain could be better.

Another very nice entry Gail! The three comets are a nice touch.

You used some pretty simple techniques to get this image good bang for the
buck.

I doubt if there could evolved original life, but why not imported life
or very primitive life hopefully some probe will discover interesting
things ... Though -170 is sure chilly.

I like the concept, the way it suggests, reflexively, what a strange substan=
ce it is that earth seas are composed of.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Saturn looks nice in the background, and I like the
shooting stars. I would like a different texture on the
land and lifeforms. A lot of jpeg artifacting makes it hard
to judge how good the scene really is, unfortunately.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
This seems to have suffered a bit from jpg compression. I can see what I can
only describe as brush strokes in the sky (no not the comets). At first I
thought "Oh this is someone new who's posted a pov demo image with a different
colour sky", not the usual high quality that we've come to expect from
yourself.
Maybe I've just got my extra critical head on today.
The atmosphere reminds me of the film Barbarella.

Nice creativity in the image conception. I would have preferred some variation
between the meteors.
