The earth looks great except it looks like a plastic ball 100 feet away from the
figures. I would kill the phong that would help put it back in the distance

An interesting interpretation of the sea topic.  The land 
and rocks look very nice, as does the earth.  The 
figures look pretty good, but could probably use a little 
tweaking.

This is a good image.  The rocks looka a bit too shiny, you'd expect the 
landscape to be dusty.  The texturing on the space suits looks good.

Weird.  Good concept and work with the objects.  Work on making all parts
(lines, contrasts, shapes, etc) of the final, 2D image bring focus to what you
want the viewer to treat as the center of attention. It's not bad visually, but
a little static in spots.
