Im so sorry too.

The fire was especially good.

I should perhaps excuse myself from this since I had a hand in the rendering.
It is a nice topical idea for the competition, bubbles didn't quite "work".
Perhaps they need to be more transparent, water like.

This image is quite good. Quite good idea with those bubbles ...

From panthus@xtra.co.nz:
Great flame effect. Perhaps there could be a light or luminous centre to each of
the columns.

Interesting representation.

83 hours? Wow! I think the sky looks really good. The water texture looks
good too. Any idea how many bubbles are there?

Your backdrop is very nice though I would not have known what it was without
your description. I would have done a translucent image to be a soul. I must
say I am very bothered by the render time and power used. It seems this image
could of been done a lot quicker. The Pov-Ray community I'm sure could provide
you with more efficient techniques.

You've done you countrymen honor. If nothing else comes from this image it is
still a work to be proud of.

From bbowen@cswnet.com:
Definitely different.

This is a very sad and haunting, yet beautiful, picture. The image is
simple but artistic and technically well done. I like to see pictures
with meaning behind them.

The sky looks very nice, and the fire effects are well-
done. Interesting concept.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
A beautiful image. The bubbles look like sand to me, I thought of it as sand
rising from the sea bed. That render time's painful, you're lucky that it
looks great just the way it is and doesn't need a rerender, any changes might
spoil it. A fantastic image, thanks for sharing your art with us.
