From digitalburn@totalise.co.uk:
i started raytracing when i was about 14... i'm now getting on for 22. the one
thing i leanred, esp for when i was staring ut, wa concentrate on textures, not
modelling... if you good at textures, everything else follows (contrary to what
people think, i know).

From pbourke@swin.edu.au:
Nice water effects and reasonable rocks.....the scene is
degraded by the appearance of the fish.

=====
From wagner-michael@web.de:
The fishes are too simple. More detailed would be better. And the whole scene is
too simple, add some vegetation or something like that.

HARDWARE USED:
    My dad's computer.

That's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

From bbowen@cswnet.com:
Keep working at it. You'll get there.

=====
From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Simple but nice.
The rocks do not fit the style of the rest of the picture.

=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
Shows some potential. The texture on the rocks looks
good, and the sand isn't bad. Nice (if basic) use of
lighting. It should be interesting to see how the artist
develops when he has more time available.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
The initial impression about this image is good, but when you look closer you
can see the problems with it: I'd expect the fish to have a better shape than
this and to have some transparency in the tail. I'd also expect to see bits
floating in the water, even in the clearest of sea water there's quite a bit
of stuff floating around.

From file:
I would have enjoyed this scene more if the fish were modelled in more detail.
Notable for lighting
