From chris@bluelectrode.com:
Great concept and extremely convincing modeling. All the plants, with the
exception of that tree, are very realistic. However, the large on the right
and the small rubble of the house on the left weights the image to the right.
Overall, it makes the image look off-balance...

Personally, I would have liked to have seen a better story connected to the
image instead of the symbolic reference to the world "disappearing." It's a
little off-topic from the image, but that could help clearify any questions
concerning the concept.

Still, one of the most original concepts I've seen so far. Good job.

This remind me of Magritte's paint : Castle in the Pyrenees

from looking at this pictures template I thought it sucked, but it's actually
quite good

The grass looks odd, and the bricks, etc, lack texture, but otherwise an
intriguing image.

Magritte where are you today ?
A very good concept, and I am so absorbed by some of the submissions to this
IRTC round that I may not notice for quite some time to come the world has
disappeared around me. And if I did, I would just come back to POV ...

Very good! I haven't noticed it was Bryce, and this is good. One usually
expects
the tipical landscape. Fine idea and realization. Nice details.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
This is very good work. The garden is obviously the important part of this
image,
and the text file explains the obsessiveness displayed by some gardeners,
making
it a great concept. The modeling is well done, particularly the broken fencing
and
house around the edges of the platform. The line (power cable?) running off the
left edge is a brilliant touch. There's not really much I can add to this
except
to suggest the lighting may be a bit too harsh - the shadows are very dark and
could do with some softer light.
