Excellent job on the cieling texture and the cage. Wouldn't change a thing. A
cute humorous twist would have been Yellow feathers and a black and white cat
with some slobber on the floor. Keep up the good work.

Melange with a plot. Very enjoyable to digest

From dwallace@lynx.dac.neu.edu:
The story is rather obvious. A trail of fur splotches and blood leading to the
cage, indicating that the bird ate the cat, however....

From tina@ripco.com:
Some of the textures seem a bit bizarre, particularly on the door and ceiling.
The cat is really good. I'm not sure what kind of bird that feather came
from, tho... The layout is good.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Oh, very subtle. The scene works exactly as you wanted: stare at the picture
and figure out the story. I like it! Lighting needs work, though. The
birdcage is casting a huge shadow on the far wall. A small flaw with the
concept: it is a little bit closer to amusing than horrifying.

From mark.wagner17@gte.net:
The bird cage is too far out of the scene for this to be an
effective image.

For me this is a really happt image, I love it when my cat brings dead animals
home. There is some good attention to detail, but more of your own work would
have been better. The fire doesn't look anything like fire, and some of the
shadows are a bit harsh so you could do with the Bryce equivelant of area
lights. The image is very well set out and planned, but next time use fewer
objects and make them yourself.
