From uwezi@geocities.com:
great, though I think, the ambient content of the vulcano and the lava are
suspicious

I love the idea! I wish there were more colors of light than just red.

My vote......it's a Landmark!!!!

I am jealous!!!! I could not get my volcano to work!!!! sniff! sniff!!
whine! whine! Got any cheese?

From jake@snafu.de:
Good lava-fountain. The lava lowing down the mountain is not so good.

From sammy@cube.net:
Great looking flying lava, but the lava on the ground looks too flat and
undetailled.

From tglover@nettally.com:
Very technically challenging! Congrats.

As a geologist, I can say this is a great volcano rendering. Only slight
observation would be "What goes up MUST come down". You need a few dark
cinder-like hardened lava chuncks coming back down. And the lava surface
should get darker away from the vent <grin>.

Still, very impressive. And a fairy good case made for following the theme.

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Looks good but it might as well have been in black and white. I know you wanted
everything red, but that is too much. You need some contrast or something to
refer to.

Wow! Remarkably well done -- I can really sense the power of the eruption.
Excellent media work.

From clem@dhol.com:
Very nice image. Still a lot of grain in the volcanic plume.
The lava needs more detail and the volcano is much too
short and squat. It looks small. The smoke background is
interesting and I like the rock texture and use of color.

Fantastic lava fountain, but I feel this is let down a bit by the plain
foreground textures and the sky.
