From sshaw@fas.harvard.edu:
Are you sure that you want to reveal your secrets, showing us the other
views of the box? Though there were several images with this optical
illusion in them, I feel that you did one of the better jobs in making
it easy to see it.

From trioker@wanadoo.fr:
It's noticeable that three of us had the same idea of the "impossible" cube :
Jack Kelly, John Hoerr and I (JMarc Genevey).
Of course, nearly each and every of Escher's picures could fit perfectly the
theme !

From brendthess@aol.com:
The second freemish crate... better done

From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu:
Like it, my favoprite of the three esher entries this time. Well done showig how
the illusion works, too!

=====
From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
The strong shadows from the single intense light source detract from the
illusion.

=====
From clem@dhol.com:
The extra crates showing how the trick is done are a nice
touch.

=====
From sdevet@istar.ca:
Nice! Lots of these things this round, though.

=====
From bobfranke@halcyon.com:
Interesting geometry. For improvement experiment more
with the scale and rotation of the wood grain textures.

From file:
Good pic, but everyone had to make the cube...
