I love fractals, so this is very interesting. A more subtle use of
colours would have done this pic a world of good.

Clever idea, makes really good alien bugs.  For 
improvement I would add a simple wood frame and 
maybe glass top.  Another thing to try is mounting the 
display on a wall and illuminate it with spotlights.  Great 
image.
