Wow, I remember that episode.

The stains and corrosion on the pipes and tanks is very good, makes it
look more realistic.

I really like the plants, expecially the tall, long leaved ones on either
side of the door.

The rocks look like sandstone, but sandstone would have a rougher,
granier texture to them. I guess they're special Star Trek rocks
which obey Star Trek geology.

Wonderful use of scale.

From Nathan@Kopp.com:
great 'aging' effects. the sand in the foreground could have used a bit more
detail.
nice sky

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Although it says it is imaginary, in my eye it is not so much.
This very much looks like the big industries that help so much polute our
atmosphere.
Some haze might have helped on the artistic touch.

Before I read the description of this image, I had a feeling I'd seen this
before, nice.

Nice recreation! :{)

From gshaw@monotix.co.za:
Rocks and sky are nice. The picture seems to be lacking a focus

Nice job technically, but see comments on your other
image.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
Fantastic, absolutely amazing. Beautifully detailed - the rust stains just
cap it off. I actually recognised the scene, too... Only problem, shadows from
fill lights around the trees look unrealistic - should have made them
shadowless.

An excellant dupe of a classic image. Star Trek has had my imagination since it
was new. And J. Michael's also if you notice the doorways in Minbar. You are
getting gratuitous extra points becuase it inspires my imagination.

Good image: The machinery is modelled with lots of details and I like the "worn"
look on it (like the washed out rust at the joints etc.)
Notable for textures, modelling, composition
