IMAGE DESCRIPTION:
On the 8th of November, 1519 Cortes and his small
army entered the capital of the Aztec empire, Tenochtitlan. They
saw incredible pyramids and fantastic buildings. They were treated
like gods by the Aztecs. Their leader, Montezuma, had been forwarned
by his priests that their great god Quetzalcoatl was arriving. The
Aztecs had never seen white men, horses, or guns.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:
I created most of the objects
using the free form modeleler. I worked on the armor, weapons, horse
and pyramid in separate rendering scenes. When I finished all of the
components I combined them into one scene. This method guaranteed
that I would not lose any large section of work if the scene became
unusable because of an error. It also enabled me to keep up my
interest, as I got bored with one area, I switched to something much
different. Also by building piece by piece as was not overwhelmed by
my final goal, so even with Christmas and four birthdays by December
26th I had enough finished to complete my picture. Hope you like it.
