Very scary. I like the view point, from inside a spacesuit
with visor displayed data? The Insect's left eye seems a
bit detached.

Magnificent! Texture on insect's body doesn't work.

From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com:
Very impressive! You've captured the theme perfectly! The HUD is well done and
the insect is positivly frightening. At first I thought it was a
nano-technology type of picture and the insect was an ant. Either way, the
image works well. Outstanding!

I love the computer messages !

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Oh, this is wierd. Vertical viewpoint gives a sense of helplessness to the
scene.
Tree trunks and branches are a little too straight. Well done overall.

Intersting concept.

From djconnel@flash.net:
This is a powerful image.... very striking!

Nicely done! The insect is wonderfully modeled...
especially the eyes.
The HUD is a very nice addition, and the trees are also
very competent.

Impressive.... but disturbing (even after revisiting
it several times), which is what you wanted, I expect.

From east103@dialaccess.com:
Nice job with the insect.

From ethelm@bigfoot.com:
A dramatic image. Mysterious without the text. Well done
once you figure it out.

From 101741.541@compuserve.com:
Very original. Fun text to read...
maybe the insect is a little difficult to catch at first
sight...

From blaineholmes@hotmail.com:
Nice color selection and very detailed. I understand why the text is on the
screen but it was very distracting to me.

From clem@dhol.com:
A good version of the hostile first encounter. The trees
and alien look very good. I particularly like the alien
textures and the detail of the compound eyes and
feelers. The unusual perspective of the trees is good,
but the HUD adds little. It is too wordy. The insect
mouth parts need some sort of joint where they connect
to the head. As it is, they look like immobile horns.
Good job overall.

Hi! I'st a good work a good idea! I like thought that the
first encounter may be a insect. :-)

Hmmm... interesting point oif view! Hard to place at first, but nice when you
SEE it. Original.
