It does have the look of a 1966 TV production which 
isn't good for the artistic value.
The surface detail on the moon might have been better 
on a smaller scale.

This image suffers from a common problem with space scenes - dullness. Most of
the image is black starfield, the saucer lacks features, the planet's surface
isn't realistic enough to be interesting, and the other ships are too far away
to show any detail. It could still be a good scene, if the layout only were
more dynamic.
