From jerry@hoboes.com:
Nice concept--this close in, though, I'd expect to see more details on the eye.

From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com:
The eye is effectively modelled, but needs more texturing and textured layers to
make it convincing.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
Nice idea, but the image as a whole and the tea in particular is not
convincing. Water just is not gray, but completely transparent, especially if
you look at smaller quantities; and even tears are totally clear and are
only visible by their refraction and reflection. But a water surface is very
smooth and has very sharp and small specular highlights. The eye itself should
also be a little more specular and if you have ever looked someone in the eye
you woill have noticed that the eye reflects its surroundings. Also, around the
lens there is a "bump" in the eye ball.

From jaime@ctav.es:
Textures aren't very reaslistic, but modeling is very well done. The near
point of view is also nice. Very good eyelash.

From djohnston@iname.com:
The image is a little bland, but the eye modelling is excellent.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Strange, this image seems to look better as a small thumbnail than as a
full-size image. The closeup is almost TOO close: maybe some of the emotion
in the face is lost, and the viewer gets too involved looking at the micro
details of the image, without seeing the full picture. Speaking of micro
details, some of them (such as tiny veins and wateriness on the surface of the
eyeball) are missing.
Good eyelashes. Since "water" is the theme, you might want to put the whole
tear within the image.
