looks good, though you could you use a few elements on the water, and the straw
should be have a little less diameter.

From jerry@hoboes.com:
Very pleasing image. The photograph and the note are perfectly flat, though, and
being this close to them it is too obvious. Good job with the black and white
lighting.

A 20 for theme. Tells a great story. Table, glass, photo are excellent.
Frequency of water waves seems wrong. Do people in your country write to the
very edge of the paper (no margin?).

The upper half of the glass also refracts as if it were solid. Taka a look at a
real glass and see that it hardly distorts objects behind it in the middle.
The way the plank texture bends around the table corners (And making a table
from planks with such wide grooves in the first place) does not look very
realistic.
The sea suffers from severe aliasing artifacts.

I like the B/W, but the water needs work

Sea waves seem too straight.

From Varyk@aol.com:
Great! I only would have done two things differently: no had the ripples=
squared-on to the viewpoint, and had dark circles where the waterdrops h=
ad soaked into the paper instead of beading like on the shinier surfaces.=
  A striking image.

Nice moody image, good use of monochrome.
