This was my original concept, but I never got too far with it (never past a
concept sketch). Very good execution.

Nice Image! good use of textures and geometry.

excellent modelling!

Nicely done, but not very realistic (I am a sailor)

Nice lightning caught in mid-stroke. I really like the way Poseidon becomes
more substantial towards the tip of the trident. The transparency on the
sail was an interesting idea, but I don't think it really works well. It
almost makes the lightning appear to be on both sides.

From Sean_Hamilton@amrcorp.com:
I like the pic, especially the waves and Poseidon. I think the man would be in
more danger of falling
off the raft, he should also be soaking wet. I don't know ifyou meant it, but
the
lightening is visible through the flag.

Excellent human figures: tell us how you did it!!
Nice effect of being able to see lightning behind the flag.
Water is not quite right.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
Water, if you only look through smaller quantities, does not have a visible
color, it is totally clear. Water refracts light, meaning it bends a ray that
hits the surface. Raytracers support simulation of this feater, it's called
"Index if Refraction". Scenes gain much credibility and a better sense of
proportions and relative locations if there are shadows.
Other than that the modelling of the human and the raft is not bad at all!

From johnson@pharmacy.arizona.edu:
Why is the lost mariner flying a flag? That nees a cross member to make it a
mast, or the sail need to be triangular and tied at the far end.

No criticism possible here. Only envy. :o
About JPG conversion, I don't see anything wrong. Perhaps a high contrast, but
this is not due to the JPG compression. I enhanced the image contrast with
LViev31 to see it in all it's glory. Great!

Some amazing detail... the ragged cloth, the human figure (especially his head)
the wood raft, the floating barrel. The ghostly, water texture of Poseidon
couldn't be better. Really good work here. Strong emotion. Excellent!

Very nice modeling and texturing, good concept.

This is impressive. The modelling on the man is quite amazing, and of course
Poseidon, but you could have done Poseidon a little bit more solid, so it could
be more visible. With this image, I recall a chapter from Xeena... Poseidon
looks almost the same!
Notable for originality, composition, modelling
