It's actually not a bad idea; all you need to do is work a little more on the
world that the glass toy inhabits: the table and the walls. (I haven't looked
at your source, but it looks like both are just infinite planes.)

that it is perhaps the second more addictive and time-consuming activity after
raytracing. :)
Well, about the image, it's all well modelled, and textured, but perhaps a
more lower light (in placement) have casted a more nice shadow and caustic
on to the wall.
