The desert has too much reflectivity/highlighting, I think; it almost looks
more like snow than desert, which is the opposite of the image you were trying
to get across. The position of the two birds in the lower left end up looking
like evil eyes much of the time--could be useful imagery if you want it, but
probably annoying if you didn't. Really nice placid river and placement of
greenery.

Very nice image. I love the rock formation and the texturing. It has a very
good feel to it. I also like the camera placement, as it emphasises the size

Good contrast between the wet and dry areas.  The river itself is quite
realistic.  Excellent textures, except the white dunes are too snowlike and
should be more tan colored.  Birds add lots of life to the scene.  I'm not sure
this image really lends itself to the widescreen aspect ratio, though.
