Nicely detailed trumpet.

From kazemir@pde.com:
Great trumpet, but I find the valve tops seem a little big, and the mouth piece
seems to be missing.

From jgoeson@msn.com:
Good job. I hope to see more of your work here in the future.

From jaime@ctav.es:

Very good start with POV! The only but is that symbols pigments seems to have
too ambient.

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Fine, simple composition overall. Nice lighting angle. Try adding a few simple
objects off-camera, which will make very interesting reflections in the
trumpet. Maybe the tip of the bell has too much of a lip on it. It looks
(excuse me) like a plumbing instrument!

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
You can be proud of this since it is your second POV-Ray image!
Among other things, I would like to say that with highly self-reflected objects
like the trumpet, you should increase the max_trace_level to a higher value (at
least 10 here), and decrease the AA threshold since many small reflected parts
will add noise in some parts of the picture.

Nice concept; good layout.
Are you allowed to redistribute jazz.ttf?

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
The specular reflections on the trumpet are too soft and large.

From arcana@sinbad.net:
Not a bad second image attempt. <grin> Some points:
1) The lighting is too harsh, and the imagery is overexposed. A lot of the
subtler
detail of your objects is lost because of it.
2) Some of the detail on the trumpet seems off. Most notably the horn end has an

inner curve that I haven't seen on a trumpet before. The mouthpiece looks either

missing or "artfully" hidden behind one of the notes. :{)

From no13@ozemail.com.au:
Not enough reflections in the trumpet. Try adding some environment for the shiny
metal to reflect.
