I like the angle of view. Good job, nice image.

Lotta piano pictures this round, huh? :-)

Although technically simple, I love this image, very classy.
I agree with your comment on the black keys. I have created a model of a
keyboard and would be glad to pass it on if you wish. Email me if you are
interested kazemir@pde.com

This is not a criticism, just an observation: the black keys appear to be above
the white keys completely (I think that's the shadow of a black key I see
there...). They should be partially embedded between the white keys. I liked
this picture, though.

Very tasteful, clean, and well composed. A good illustration. Great lighting.
The backboard is almost too reflective -- makes the text appear to be floating.

Simple and yet elegant

From wozzeck@club-internet.fr:
Simple, but nice. Nothing to add, except for the usual 800x600 size (which is
not mandatory for such a simple picture).

From dick@buckosoft.com:
Nice idea. If the superellipsoid wasn't working for the black keys, then you
should have tried something else. (maybe merging a couple of objects)
Very nice lighting and color. There needs to be space between the keys.
The A# looks like its floating above the A and B. Also, it needs to be
centered.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
Very beatiful image. As you said the black keys' shapes are not accurate, and
the
white keys miss the gap to let the black ones pass through. The spacing seems
almost accurate, though.
All in all a very stylish image :)

Very nice composition. You already know about the black keys so I won't comment
on them.

Pretty simple, but very good-looking. High score
dor artistical merit.

From arcana@sinbad.net:
This is a really nice, simple image. By simple, I mean that there's not a ton
of things to draw your eye all over the place. It has a smooth, easy feel to
it.
On the more technical side of things though, the keys (as you said in your
text)
need more work. One thing that really stood out for me was that there were no
grooves cut out of the white keys for the black ones.
I still like the looks of the image though. :{)

Nice Camera shot

From ptdawson@voicenet.com:
This gets high artistic marks! The only nitpicky problem is the too-tiny
gaps between the keys - they seem to be a bit too close together.

From web_user@flex058.dijkgraaf.wau.nl:
I like the reflection. You created a great classic look with just simple shapes.
You could have CSG'd the shape of the black keys out of the white keys, by
using a slightly larger shape for the CSG.

Good rendering...nice approach to a very very tired theme. (Pianos and
chessboards have been done to death.
