Truly delightful. (Let's take it as granted the connection to theme
is "optical/electronic physics"). This impliment is a surrealistic 
joy to view. The only suggestions I would have are: roughen the wooden
"grip" a little (can't have the tool slipping in your hand during a
delicate tracing operation, can we?) and perhaps, instead of simple
red/green/blue buttons, tiny dials for controlling the volume of each
color would be more appropriate to the subject.
