Oh, never mind. I liked this image, in spite of the fact that I don't
think a supernova would be so obliging as to only progress along a
single planet's orbital plane ;)  I think we need to see more evidence
that the approaching shockwave is a lethal entity. Perhaps if the moon
were in the process of breaking up at its edge. And, if the poor
Sagan is going to escape, it should be angled more sharply upward, 
to show better that it is going flat out to try and get out of the 
path of approaching cataclysm.

I had to give extra credit for the nova wave and the added ability to use 
pigment_maps in addition to color_maps.  This effect looked great.
