For a hastily-thrown-together image, this one is good. I would have liked
seeing
it in the full 800x600, but if you were worried about demonstrating how little
was actually in the scene, the smaller resolution is justified.

From jsaxton@folio.com:

Wish the image was larger. I would have liked to look at the cloud in more
detail.
Other than this, great job!

Well, the bomb looks kinda neat...

Difficult to give marks to such a small image. However the ideas look good.
Could you upload it at full size when you have finished?

From jaime@ctav.es:
Nice idea. Waiting for next round...

Why so small?

=====
From libelle@webbwerks.com:
Good idea, but I'd like to see it if you'd given it a bit more time.

As usual Sonya's makes a wonderful entry

From amarok@geocities.com:
The light effect around the "bomb" is really neat.

From tholal@bga.com:
Incredible Mushroom cloud! Well-done and well-thought out image (as usual).

From gmccarter@hotmail.com:
Superb realism and detail, even the wallpaper.
Too bad it's at 400 x 300.

Poor Alfred. His identical brother Albert usually ends up taking all the
credit for his ideas. <g> Seriously, though, I liked this image, and the
thinking/concept behind it. It would have been interesting to see it
larger for a more detailed look at that "mushroom cloud under glass"
thing though. Come to think of it, that would make a good real world
light sculpture, or even a nifty animation, with the lights "shifting"
from sphere to sphere within the "cloud" in various frames.

like the stuff in the glass jar

From SSchanevil@aol.com:
I would have liked to see this bigger.

A bit cynic, perhaps, but it's good that someone has noted that physics and
math
isn't always used for good purposes. A nice break from all physics-romantic
images this round.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
Sad you only submitted such a small resolution. Very nice and well-balanced
image otherwise, although the thing in the center does not really remind me of
a
mushroom cloud.
