The camera distorion is an excellent effect for creating the "feel" of a dream. 
The room could has used some furniture, or maybe some partially constructed or
dismantled robot parts.  A "gory" scene of dismantled robots would have made
the perfect nightmare scene. :)

much looking forward to another Rusty story.  It's a shame Real Life
intruded--I would have liked to see the other scenes.  The only bit I didn't
understand was right after the cutting began--there was a gray disc on the
screen--what was it?

These pieces are interesting because you've developed a history to the
characters- I'd like to see some stuff outside the confines of the IRTC with a
more developed pacing and plot.  Very nice swirly effect in the backgrounds.
