Very funny. I did not read the description before viewing "That's Life"
for the first time. And I kept expecting something to happen. When the paper
started moving I thought it might be poltergeist or something. And then the
fish again. ROFL!

I liked the concept and the animation was very well done, realistic movement of
the tail.... nice texturing.

Kudos on the fish model and texture. Too bad about the raytracing render time
with refraction. The animation needed a little more variation and some dynamics
would have helped also. Maybe a few little turns or an elevation change or a
slow barrel roll. You do get the most points for most efficient use of a single
sequence.

Nothing happens.

Piti the introduction is so jerky (zoom on the fishbowl).
Image quality is good and the idea of a boring life gets through loud and
clear.

The fish's moves could do with undulations of it's body - it looks like a still
submarine only propulsed by unseen propelers or turbines.
I had to read the text to understand that the page was floating in the breeze -
maybe because its movement was so smooth. Check it out, when the breeze blows
in
your office, it rather is pretty fast at moving paper about.

A very nice looking scene. Camera movement
at the beginning needs some work. I would have
liked to see more movement from the fish. I also
think some water in the bowl would have been nice.

The fish model is beautiful. The story makes me sad.
Notable for originality
