DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: I built the chassis using
standard shapes, deforming them until I felt that they resembled my
sketches best. I always had the idea to create a short animation
using the "Stunkatank" since it's seriously cool. Animating the robot
I realised by using characterstudio and bones. To make the android
"look" and point it's rocketlauncher I used "Lookat"-controllers.
The people are workmen I used for an oilderrick animation which using
glow filters look like soldiers. They are very low- polygon based
which you cannot see from the animation, not even on a high resolution.
The mappings are highly detailed though especially the droids skull
and body armour. Sound and titles were mounted using adobe premiere.

ANIMATION DESCRIPTION: Stunkatanks are the Deldorads highest level
city invasion units. They were first deployed by the Deldorad mainframe
computer "Virtua" to protect it's installations from scavengers and
Avanckian imperial forces. Later the remnants were sold for scrap and
adds like these were common about late-warmachines like the Stunkatank.
When fully operational these tanks were exceptional androids and very
difficult to take down in close combat. The stunkatank can be manned
by two operators a pilot and a gunner which might increase the tanks
functionality. The tank operates slower on remote control.
