That's a warp transit, all right! Very interesting work, nice colors.

From agage@mines.edu:
This certainly would have been nicer at the 320x240 resolution, because the
movement of the stars in the background would have been smoother, at least.

Very pretty, but it is too symmetric around the middle frame. The stars
in the background don't even change position on either end of the warp!

I was never able to view this movie. crash and burn.

Pretty wierd, psychedelic. The tie-in to "Transportation" would be
much stronger if you actually included a spaceship -- an exterior rear
view, or a cockpit view if the camera is inside the spaceship.

Looks like you are suffering from the same problems I am: Lack of
comprehension
for compression. I noticed that you had to go to a smaller size to get enough
frames for the sequence. Perhaps next time the exit sequence could be
different
from a reverse entry sequence.

The warp effect is very well done (in particular, the fade out), but the
animation on the whole is too simple.

Cool fx with the sprial... it would be nice if there was more.

From r@dial-up7.webbernet.net:
The lightning around the ship looked good, but should have flickered and moved.
A more shiplike ship would have been better, as would showing it actually in
the warp. The purple tunnel was ok, but the warp in the middle didn't really
work in my opinion.

Realy nice
Notable for originality, textures, lighting

Interesting and novel... a bit abstract and novel, but nothing in the work
really anchors the subject. Somehow you need to let the viewer know what he is
seeing.
Notable for composition, textures
