The IESG approved publication of A Method for the Transmission of IPv6 Packets over ARCnet Networks as a Proposed Standard. Steve to send anouncement. 4. The IESG approved publication of Anti-Spam Recommendations on an SMTP MTA as a BCP. Steve to send announcement. 5. The IESG approved Media Feature Tag Registration Procedure o Internet X.509 Certificate Request Message Format 7. The IESG approved publication of the following documents as Proposed Standards: o Domain Name System Security Extensions o DSA KEYs and SIGs in the Domain Name System o RSA/MD5 KEYs and SIGs in the Domain Name System (DNS) o Storing Certificates in the Domain Name System (DNS) o Storage of Diffie-Hellman Keys in the Domain Name System (DNS) The IESG also approved publication of the following as Experimental: o Detached Domain Name System (DNS) Information and the publication of DNS Operational Security Considerations as Informational. 8. The IESG tentatively approved publication of the following as Standard: o Structure of Management Information Version 2 (SMIv2) . This document obsoletes RFC1902, currently a Draft Standard. o Textual Conventions for SMIv2 . This document obsoletes RFC1903, currently a Draft Standard. o Conformance Statements for SMIv2 . This document obsoletes RFC1904, currently a Draft Standard. The one remaining issue pertains to the list of authors and editors. Scott to draft substitute text to replace the appropriate lines at the beginning of the Internet-Drafts; there were also some minor edits required. Once the revised documents are available as Internet-Drafts, and Harald and/or Bert notify Steve that these documents are acceptable, Steve to announce. 9. The IESG approved publication of NHRP with Mobile NHCs as an Experimental Protocol. Steve to send announcement. 10. The IESG approved publication of Representation of Key Exchange Algorithm (KEA) Keys in Internet X.509 Public Key Infrastructure Certificates as an Informational RFC. Steve to send announcement. 11. The IESG consensus was to recommend against publishing Neda's Efficient Mail Submission and Delivery (EMSD) Protocol Specification Version 1.3 . Keith to compose first draft of IESG note. Once IESG agrees on the text, Steve to convery to RFC Editor. 15. The IESG approved creation of the Media Gateway Control (megaco) Working Group. Steve to send announcement. 16. The IESG tentatively approved General Switch Management Protocol (gsmp) as a Working Group. Rob is to obtain a note from Ipsilon/Nokia (who developed GSMP) that such work is acceptable. 17. Patrik is to make changes to the draft charter for Instant Messaging and Presence Protocol (impp) which address the concerns made by others. IMPP will be reconsidered after the revised charter is made available.
