HYPHENATION AUTHORS PLEASE NOTE Most of the files here are no longer used directly by TeX distributions such as TeX Live or MiKTeX. To be usable with modern TeX engines like XeTeX or LuaTeX, while remaining compatible with older TeX, pdfTeX and friends, the patterns were converted to UTF-8. The directory http://mirror.ctan.org/language/hyph-utf8/ contains the results. If you are the author of a file here, or if you are working on hyphenation patterns, please contact Mojca Miklavec and Arthur Reutenauer via the tex-hyphen mailing-list (tex-hyphen@tug.org). You are also invited to join this (low-volume) mailing list; see http://www.tug.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-hyphen to sign up.
