Short: small util to switch to/from 1.3 and 2.0 palettes (needs KS2) Architecture: m68k-amigaos ColorSwitch Version 1.0 ----------------------- by Martin W. Scott On a recent fish disk, I saw a program called SwitchColors, by Guido Wegener; it puts up a window with 3 gadgets, which let you select either the 1.3 palette, the 2.0 palette or your preferences palette. It was quite neat, but written on/for 1.3. I decided to rewrite it for Kickstart 2.0 systems, so that it would have a zip gadget; also, it would use gadtools.library for that standardised interface. What use is it? Well, browsing through old disks that used the 1.3 palette, or for programs that open their own screen and use the system colors, but then go on to assume that white is black and so on... I take no credit for the idea, and even less for the program -- the gadgets were generated by GadToolsBox, so I knocked this out in about an hour. Source is included, for what it's worth.
