Short: Pop3get, uses RMail to deliver (AmiTCP) Author: o.wagner@lsd.wupper.de Uploader: o wagner lsd wupper de Type: comm/mail Version: 1.0 Architecture: m68k-amigaos Long: Pop3Get is a small utility designed to download mails from a POP3 account. Unlike similiar programs, it relies on "RMail" to deliver your mail and therefore allows usage of all the standard SendMail features (e.g. aliasing, piping). It will also scan the To: headers of incoming mails for obtaining the mailboxes to send to, allowing for example to route mailing lists to special folders. Usage is very straightforward: Pop3Get Host/A,Port/K,Username=USER/A,Password=PASS/A,NoDelete/S Host is the Hostname of the POP3 server Port is the port to connect to. This defaults to 110. Username is the name of your POP3 account. Password is the password for your POP3 account. NoDelete is a flag which avoids deleting of messages that have been retrivied. Remember that you MUST have "RMail" somewhere in the path. Pop3Get has been tested with ASMail only, but should run with similiar SendMail derivates if renamed, aliased or hardlinked to the name "RMail". Pop3Get is written by Oliver Wagner (owagner@lsd.wupper.de) and hereby declared Public Domain, source included. No warranties whatsoever, so if all your mails get lost, blame the government as usual, not me. Pop3Get requires AmiTCP.
